Julie McVay is a barrister with a dedicated practice in criminal law, having been admitted to the Bar in 2009. She has appeared in the District Courts, High Court, and Court of Appeal, as well as in specialist tribunals and professional disciplinary forums.

Julie’s background includes having practised both family and mental health law, helping to shape a comprehensive and insightful approach to criminal defence. Her broad experience allows her to navigate the complex intersection of legal and personal issues that often arise in criminal proceedings.
